Gratitude is an emotion.  It is one that can make you feel good, hopeful, and connected to other people. Gratitude is an emotion that resonates deep inside of a person.  Because it is inside of us, we can express it in any way we choose to.  Gratitude can make a rainy day brighter if we show it regularly and allow ourselves to reinforce this emotion daily.

Each day that we go about our daily routine, we can do something beautiful for others.  If you are unsure as to how to show gratitude, try waving at a stranger as you walk past them.  So many people feel they are in this world alone.  A wave or a smile could make them feel special, and you alone could make that person's day.  Holding a door for someone is another way.  Paying it forward by paying for a meal, coffee, or toll is a great way to feel the effects of gratitude.  

You have the power to change how you interact and engage with the world around you.  This type of behavior can make you feel grateful in this life you are living.  The choice is up to you.

***What are you thankful for and why?

***What makes you the proudest?

***What do you currently have that you could share with others?  (Don’t think in terms of material possessions)
